About The Position
We are seeking to hire a Plumbing Estimator to join our team. This resource will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive plumbing cost estimates for commercial projects. The Plumbing Estimator will play a key role in ensuring project profitability and successful project delivery by providing precise pricing and cost control strategies.
Requirements
- Either a degree in Construction Management or proven experience in construction estimating with exposure to plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or other construction estimating software platforms.
Nice To Haves
- Plumbing Construction site experience is highly desirable to understand on-the-ground realities impacting estimates.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive plumbing estimates using Bluebeam or other estimating software tools.
- Review construction plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Prepare detailed cost proposals including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes.
- Assist in bid preparation, contract review, and risk assessment to ensure competitive yet profitable proposals.
