Landscape Design - Junior Estimator

About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to support our Landscape Design division. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in estimating, design interpretation, and material sourcing, with a focus on projects across South Florida. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, client interaction, and administrative support to ensure accurate and timely project proposals.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in estimating, construction, landscape, or a related field
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Prioritize tasks effectively while maintain autonomy in time management
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Proficiency in Adobe, Outlook, and Excel
Experience with Aspire software (preferred) or willingness to learn.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with plant materials commonly used in South Florida landscapes (helpful but not required)
Basic understanding of landscape methods and materials (helpful but not required)

Responsibilities

Review, interpret, and take off from CAD plans/drawings.
Assist with estimating costs for landscape design projects.
Apply knowledge of South Florida plant material
Utilize software such as Adobe or Aspire, Outlook, Excel to support project estimating.
Support proposal development by discussing project needs with Designers and preparing detailed estimates.
Source and price materials in coordination with the Designer.
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to procure quotes.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate proposals.
