About The Position

HV Talent Group is partnering with a well-established, rapidly growing construction organization seeking a dynamic Junior Estimator to support its preconstruction and estimating team. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented candidate who wants to learn how real budgets are built, how scopes are compared, and how pursuit decisions get made inside a growing contractor.

Requirements

• Early estimating, preconstruction, project engineering, or similar construction experience; internships count.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working carefully through plan sets and scope details.
• Willingness to learn quantity takeoffs, trade scoping, and bid-leveling discipline.

Nice To Haves

• Construction Management, Engineering, or related educational background preferred.
• Experience with Bluebeam or estimating software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity takeoffs, bid tabulation, subcontractor outreach, scope comparisons, and estimate organization.
• Help maintain pricing databases, estimate templates, clarifications, and subcontractor contact information.
• Support document review, addenda tracking, drawing management, and bid package coordination.
• Prepare spreadsheets and basic pricing analyses under the guidance of senior estimating staff.
• Participate in post-bid reviews and help capture lessons learned for future pursuits.
