About The Position

This role involves working with and learning from senior engineers in the creation of CAD drawings, estimating costs, and providing customer service and technical assistance. The Junior Engineer will maintain and update CAD drawings for standard cutting tools, review customer order requests to update CAD drawings as needed, and create CAD drawings for new special cutting tools by researching previous similar orders. The position also includes calculating quoted prices for special inquiries, aiding in the development and continuous improvement of procedures, and assisting in retrieving historical and traceability information for new and previous requests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree in engineering or Currently enrolled in a 2-year engineering program.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal or external customers.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as the fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
