The Department of Design & Construction, Division of Infrastructure, is seeking Junior Engineers to join their Design Unit. Successful candidates will receive hands-on training and contribute to various engineering tasks, from moderate to complex. Responsibilities include conducting research studies, engineering investigations, and assessments. They will also perform civil engineering tasks of moderate complexity under supervision. The scope of work and training covers areas such as design, drafting, engineering investigations, cost estimation, specification writing, structural calculations, field surveys, and design-related site inspections. All candidates must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S. and present original documents proving citizenship or legal right to work. DDC cannot support or sponsor any visa applications or extensions. Educational credentials must be from a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accredited institution, with foreign credentials requiring equivalency verification.
