About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Embedded Middleware Engineer to join our engineering team in Milpitas, California. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in software development, strong programming skills in C/C++ ,C# and Python, working knowledge of QNX-based systems, and exposure to software testing and validation activities. The candidate should possess a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and explore new technologies in a fast-paced product development environment.

Requirements

1 to 3 years of software development experience.
Strong programming skills in: C, C++, C#, Python
Basic to intermediate knowledge of QNX RTOS.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git.
Exposure to debugging tools and software troubleshooting techniques.
Experience with software testing, validation, and defect tracking.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of multithreading, IPC, and system-level programming concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain middleware software components for embedded and real-time systems.
Develop software using C, C++, C# and Python following coding standards and best practices.
Participate in middleware integration activities across operating systems, applications, and hardware platforms.
Work with QNX RTOS environments and support system-level software development activities.
Develop unit tests and assist in software verification and validation activities.
Execute functional, integration, and regression testing.
Analyze software defects, perform debugging, and support root cause investigations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, systems, and test engineers.
Contribute to software design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and development methodologies.
