Junior Electronics Repair Technician
About The Position
The Junior Electronics Repair Technician supports the repair, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial electronic and electro-mechanical equipment while developing technical skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. This role is ideal for recent technical school graduates, electronics enthusiasts, military veterans, or individuals with hands-on experience building computers, soldering, robotics, or working on electronic devices. Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools preferred
- Basic soldering experience is a plus
- Experience building computers, gaming systems, electronics projects, robotics, or similar hobbies is a plus
- Technical school training, trade school, military technical training, or related coursework preferred
- Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or similar education is a plus
- Previous electronics repair experience is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electronic equipment
- Perform power-up, diagnostic, and functional testing on equipment
- Inspect, clean, and verify part numbers on processed units
- Utilize test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
- Perform basic soldering, component replacement, and light repair work as needed
- Document repair activities and test results within company systems
- Process units to Ready-to-Sell (RTS) standards
- Follow established repair, testing, quality, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with senior technicians to develop technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Support production goals and departmental objectives
- Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned
