About The Position

As a Junior Electronics Refurbishment Technician, you will be the hands-on force behind preparing our Geodes for the field. You'll handle the end-to-end processing of sensors returned from operations. This role is perfect for someone who is naturally adept at electronics, enjoys manual work, and is eager to learn the technical "ins and outs" of our specialized equipment in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Adept in electronics and comfortable handling delicate components.
• Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safe handling procedures.
• Willingness to learn technical skills on the job.
• Ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy items.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Nice To Haves

• Valid forklift license.
• Prior experience in a technical production or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform the initial cleaning and physical inspection of returned sensors and field gear.
• Disassemble and reassemble units, ensuring they are sealed correctly to protect against the environment.
• Run functional performance checks to make sure every unit meets our standards before it goes back out.
• Work alongside senior tech members to learn how to diagnose faults using tools like multimeters and power supplies.
• Regularly move, lift, and organize equipment and crates; this is a physically active role that requires manual labor.
• Help manage stock levels of spare parts and participate in regular counts to keep our records accurate.
• Assist in logging incoming equipment and preparing shipments for field operations.
• Keep the workspace tidy and safe by following 5S methodology and safety protocols.
• Update digital history logs and track serial numbers in our system so we know the status of every piece of gear.
