About The Position
AWC Water Solutions Ltd. specializes in providing integrated water, wastewater treatment plants and many other specialized industrial packaged solutions. We offer clients advanced in-house engineering & design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in-house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn-key solutions. In our busy industry, we consistently manage a strong and steady backlog of work extending well beyond a year, which ensures a secure and reliable workflow. We are seeking a qualified Junior Electrician to fill a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate must be a team player and have technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring. The candidate must also have a great attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve potential problems. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of tools
- Immediately report any accident / incident and collaborate in its investigation
- Interrupt work when conditions are unsafe, create safe work environment when possible and report to upper management
- Maintain orderly and clean work areas
- Use and maintain in good condition the safety equipment, work tools and personal protective equipment for the group.
- Work in a safe manner
Nice To Haves
- Accredited Trade school or equivalent is preferred
Responsibilities
- Install equipment as per the general arrangement drawings
- Install conduit and cable as per electrical schematics
- Assemble and wire custom control panels
- Occasional Site work and associated travel
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.
- Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Any other assigned duties as required
