About The Position
Join AtkinsRéalis as a Junior Drafter in Vancouver, BC, and launch your career with a team delivering innovative solutions for critical power infrastructure projects. As part of the Protection, Control & Automation team, you will contribute to the design and development of transmission, distribution, and generating station projects while collaborating with experienced engineers and industry professionals.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD technology acquired through a diploma in CAD technology or an equivalent qualification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving project requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Aptitude for identifying opportunities to develop and improve work processes.
Responsibilities
- Draft Protection, Control & Automation drawings.
- Develop detailed wiring diagrams for power infrastructure projects.
- Perform drafting work in accordance with client practices and standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary team members to deliver project objectives.
- Support the design and development of transmission, distribution, and generating station projects.
- Contribute to the production of accurate and high-quality technical documentation.
- Apply innovative approaches to improve drafting processes and project delivery.
