About The Position

Polymarket is seeking a freelance Junior Designer to manage ad creative, focusing on the synergy between performance marketing and brand identity. The role involves creating and deploying creative assets across social and programmatic platforms, as well as assisting the broader design team with presentations, templates, and other digital assets. This is a high-volume position requiring the production of numerous creative variations weekly, ensuring they are launched effectively while maintaining high quality and brand consistency across all materials. The engagement is freelance, based in the NYC office, with an expectation of 3-5 days of in-person collaboration per week.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of design experience (in-house, agency, or freelance) with a portfolio showcasing high-volume shipped work
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Confidence in After Effects, Premiere, or CapCut (or equivalent motion tools)
  • Understanding of performance marketing principles, including hooks, thumb-stops, and creative's impact on CAC
  • Ability to work quickly, accept feedback constructively, and adapt to iterative or iterative work
  • Strong design craft with a focus on conversion-driven creative
  • Based in NYC and available to work 3-5 days per week from the office
  • Ability to maintain consistent weekly hours and meet quick turnarounds

  • Experience in paid social, motion design, or performance-led design
  • Interest in prediction markets, politics, finance, or internet culture

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship static, motion, and short-form video ads across paid social, display, and emerging channels
  • Iterate quickly on creative concepts based on performance data, and manage assets from brief to launch
  • Build and maintain creative templates and systems to support high-volume output without compromising quality or brand integrity
  • Create ad creative responding to real-time market events and news within hours
  • Collaborate with growth marketers, copywriters, and brand designers to test various hooks, formats, and angles
  • Stay informed about cultural trends and bring fresh ideas to the team
