Junior Designer I
About The Position
This position is responsible for leading planogram photography. In addition to graphic design, the contractor will also have planogram image production responsibilities. This entails: photographing individual products, and recording the SKU and description along with product photo in the Image Tool. Images are to be photoshopped and resized in final preparation for ad placement. Training will be provided for planogram image production. This position is responsible for the creative execution and development of materials in English and Spanish, including (but not limited to): store signage, direct mail, advertising, packaging, and circular. Designer I must have an advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and must have a solid background in design. The designer additionally must have demonstrated experience in graphic design disciplines, including an understanding of typography, color, layout and best practices for various creative assets. She/he must be self-motivated, self-managed, and a good communicator and collaborator.
Requirements
- Bilingual required
- Minimum of 2 years creative experience within Advertising/Marketing
- Bachelors degree in Industrial/Graphic/Interactive Design, Fine arts or equivalent work experience required
- Experience in graphic design disciplines including layout, color and typography
- Able to understand and incorporate type, color, printing, production and visual brand communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent team player able to work with cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Able to understand marketing and functional requirements documentation
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Solid background in design
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design disciplines, including an understanding of typography, color, layout and best practices for various creative assets
- Self-motivated
- Self-managed
- Good communicator and collaborator

- Presenting viable, on-brand design concepts

- Delivering all assets optimized and production-ready, ensuring brand and style guidelines and overall site quality are met
- Organizing and managing day-to-day projects
- Developing and maintaining partnerships with internal partners
- Creative execution and development of materials in English and Spanish
