About The Position

This is a remote, full-time position supporting a large federal healthcare program. The role involves managing cloud-hosted databases, supporting data integrations with external systems, and ensuring smooth backend operations. This position is contingent upon contract award, with employment offers extended only upon successful contract award and client approval. Candidates may be interviewed in advance for rapid onboarding should the contract be awarded.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
• Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
• 2+ years of experience working with databases in a backend or infrastructure role
• Solid SQL and basic scripting experience (e.g., Python or Bash)
• Comfortable working in AWS environment
• Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and backend integrations (REST, SOAP, HL7)
• Good troubleshooting skills and a desire to learn
• Clear communication and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LiquidBase
• Exposure to VA systems, healthcare data, or federal environments
• Experience with Oracle, InterSystems IRIS / HealthShare, or MUMPS
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling: Git, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of data security standards and PHI/PII handling
