About The Position

As part of the Algorithms team, you will contribute to the design and development of solutions that integrate machine learning to add value or new features to our large-scale software product suite. In addition to working in an agile environment, a career in data science at GIRO means: Analyzing problems and thinking critically about new challenges in order to propose innovative software solutions. Participating in all stages of the design and development of applications using statistical and machine learning methods: Data manipulation and transformation Model selection, training, and validation Programming and integration into our software product suite Documenting and testing developments. Providing technical support to development and project teams using the features developed by your team. Staying up to date with the latest advances in data science.

Requirements

• Completed a master’s degree in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in data science or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of applying statistical techniques, machine learning, and deep learning to solve real-world prediction and natural language processing problems.
• Experience integrating large language models (LLMs) into software (prompting techniques, RAG, MCP).
• Highly proficient in Python and C++ programming.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Enjoy teamwork and thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Communicate fluently in French, both verbally and in writing.
