About The Position

Radiance Technologies is seeking a talented Junior Data Scientist to join their Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis (MS&A) team in Dayton, OH. This role will support various missions by enhancing analytical efforts centered around the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) framework. The candidate will tackle complex decision-making challenges using scientific methods like mathematical modeling and statistics. The position requires an innovative self-starter who can adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile analytical effort and will work closely with Government stakeholders and Radiance teammates across the country supporting AFRL, NASIC, and other Intelligence Community (IC) missions.

Requirements

Strong communication and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field
US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
Minimum of 1 year of analytical experience
Some experience in Python
Experience using analytical techniques such as descriptive statistics, correlation, and analysis of variance

Nice To Haves

Experience working with statistical software such as JMP and MATLAB
Experience working with DOE software such as Dakota, PIANO, and HAL
Experience working with MS&A tools such as AFSIM, NGTS, and ITASE
Familiarity with DoD security practices

Responsibilities

Compose an analysis plan that includes what is being analyzed and how it will be analyzed.
Build a wide range of models within scenarios.
Perform verification on these models and scenarios.
Develop and execute Designs of Experiment (DOEs).
Analyze experiment output.
Generate presentations and reports.
