We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. This role is critical in supporting analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives across the organization. As a Data Engineer, you will ensure our data is clean, accessible, and optimized for performance across various systems. This position will be a contract and onsite in Miami, FL. Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Requirements

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala
Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as data tools
Strong understanding of database systems, data modeling, and APIs

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and developers to address data needs and requirements

Implement data quality checks, monitoring systems, and performance optimization strategies
Ensure data security and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Document processes and actively contribute to data governance initiatives
