About The Position

The Junior Data Scientist / Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare-related data to support our mission. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that influence decision-making, optimize processes, and improve patient care. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a data-focused role (internship experience included).
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of statistical methods and predictive modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of healthcare datasets or standards (e.g., FHIR, ICD-10) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
  • Perform statistical analyses and generate actionable insights from healthcare data.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Work with product, engineering, and clinical teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data by implementing best practices for validation and maintenance.
  • Develop and apply basic machine learning models to identify patterns and predict outcomes.
