About The Position

BigBear.ai is seeking a Junior Dashboard Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting capabilities for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The role helps deliver visualizations and reporting used to track program performance, operational outcomes, and emerging AI pilot initiatives. The developer will work with data, reporting tools, and integrated data sources, collaborating with technical and functional team members in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations.
• Familiarity with reporting and data analytics concepts.
• Experience supporting testing, troubleshooting, and documentation activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/TSA Moderate-Risk Public Trust or equivalent federal suitability determination.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis fundamentals.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of dashboard development and reporting best practices.
• Experience working with integrated or multiple data sources.
• Experience supporting federal or enterprise reporting environments.
• Existing or prior TSA/DHS Public Trust clearance is strongly preferred.
• Local to the Springfield, Virginia area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Create data visualizations that communicate program performance and operational metrics.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective dashboard solutions.
• Support data analysis and reporting activities using multiple data sources.
• Test, troubleshoot, and validate dashboards and reports.
• Identify and resolve data or visualization issues.
• Document dashboard functionality, data sources, and reporting processes.
• Help ensure dashboards provide accurate, clear, and actionable information to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical and functional team members in a fast-paced environment.
