Junior Counselor – International/USFC Admissions (NFWS)

About The Position

The purpose of this position will work to support the admissions team to help qualify and support inquiries or perspective students who are seeking to or currently attending GCU via Campus, Cohort or Online degree programs of study. This will include communicating via phone and email with potential students and assist with collection of documentation needed to assist students in the admissions process.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-Oriented.
  • Experience in communicating in-person or over phone with customers.
  • Follow-up skills.
  • Review and quality assure documents for accuracy.
  • Able to work independent after instructions on tasks provided.
  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with perspective and current students via phone and email.
  • Communicate internally via phone, MSTeams or email with University Counselors.
  • Provide guidance and assistance regarding the admissions process and required paperwork needed to move through the admissions process.
  • Follow up and re-engage with old inquiries and students.
  • Communicate with inquiries and students on past due documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
