Location: Old Greenwich, CT, New York, NY or West Palm Beach, FL The Role: We are seeking an especially talented junior attorney to join our team. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Requirements

  • 1 - 4 years of corporate and transactional legal experience (in-house or law firm)
  • Experience with a range of commercial agreements
  • Excellent drafting skills with a focus on clarity, precision and practical application
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters at once, with appropriate prioritization and communication
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, and an interest in understanding how they impact legal risk and business strategy
  • Interest in supporting various teams, including human resources and finance, and learning the business
  • The instinct to identify issues and escalate or seek guidance appropriately
  • Willingness to ask questions, learn new areas, and develop subject-matter expertise over time
  • Professionalism and sound judgment, with an interest in developing practical, business-oriented solutions
  • Reliable, service-oriented and highly attentive to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills reflected in clear communications, reliable responsiveness and humility
  • Active membership in the Connecticut, New York State or Florida Bar (or eligible for authorized house counsel status), depending on location

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior attorneys with review and preparation of commercial agreements for our US and international offices, such as vendor agreements, license/technology/data agreements, finance-related agreements, confidentiality agreements, and employment agreements
  • Support the creation and maintenance of template documents, playbooks and checklists
  • Provide input on marketing materials and promotional activities (including website content and social media)
  • Support the legal team on matters involving AI and other emerging technologies
  • Assist with corporate entity governance matters, including resolutions, consents and filings
  • Perform legal research and prepare concise summaries in substantive areas driven by company initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across levels and functions and build strong working relationships with business stakeholders
  • Contribute actively to both strategic goals and day-to-day legal operations, including handling administrative and process-oriented tasks as needed
  • Coordinate with external counsel primarily in an international setting, including assisting with information gathering and follow up
  • Provide clear, practical and business-oriented advice, escalating issues appropriately
  • Take ownership for assigned tasks and deliverables, with consistent follow-through and timely communication
  • Attend in-person and virtual meetings, as assigned, and work alongside team members on day-to-day tasks and larger projects in support of global operations
