Join the Culinary Carnival: Junior Cooking Camp Instructor Needed! Are you ready to add some flavor to your summer? We're looking for a passionate and creative Junior Cooking Camp Instructor to join our team! If you love cooking, working with kids, and having fun, this could be the perfect role for you. For over 80 years, we've been dedicated to bringing parks, recreation, and wellness to our community. Our team is more than coworkers-we're family. Now, we're excited to welcome a new member to help us inspire young chefs in the kitchen. As the Junior Cooking Camp Instructor, you'll guide children ages 6-9 on a fun, hands-on culinary journey. From learning kitchen basics to creating simple recipes, you'll make cooking a safe, educational, and unforgettable experience for our campers.
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older to lead our little chefs.
- Experience working in a camp, educational, or similar setting.
- Culinary skills or education (if you can turn mac 'n' cheese into magic, we want you!).
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging daily cooking activities.
- Teach kids how to use basic kitchen tools like knives, graters, mixers, and ovens (all under supervision).
- Create a safe and supportive environment where learning is as sweet as freshly baked cookies.
