We are seeking a junior consultant to join our Vancouver team. Our Culture With 60 employees in six offices across Canada, we offer a “small company” experience. How you can Contribute and Learn on the Job You will assist in offering clients a variety of solutions for their vertical transportation needs (elevators and escalators), working closely with management companies and contractors to assist in the modernization and maintenance of elevators. You will benefit from working and learning from our team of experienced Senior Consultants, who will guide you and help develop your knowledge and expertise. You can expect to work in the field shadowing other team members as well as having the opportunity to work independently in our downtown Vancouver office.

Requirements

Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent
General knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and their functionality
Full driver’s license
Desire to obtain Qualified Elevator Inspector certification
Comfortable learning and using a variety of software/technologies
Comfortable working in the office or in the field. This is not a remote work role.
Ability to travel to Toronto for an extended period of training.

Responsibilities

Developing your knowledge of elevator codes, technology and industry requirements
Assisting with elevator inspections in the field
Producing inspection reports for clients
Attending regular meetings with clients, vendors and contractors
Participating in project work commissioned by clients
