About The Position

Our client, a Virtual Asset Service Provider, is seeking a motivated Junior Compliance Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will support the Compliance Function and assist the MLRO in ensuring full compliance with MFSA, EU, and international regulatory standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in Compliance, AML, or Risk within financial services or a related field.
• Degree (MQF Level 6 or higher) in Law, Finance, Business, Compliance, or an equivalent sector-related qualification.
• Sound knowledge of MFSA, FIAU, GDPR, and AML/CFT regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
• Must be resident in Malta and available to start in the near term.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the compliance programme.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies and controls.
• Conduct compliance reviews and prepare related reports.
• Support the MLRO with CDD/EDD/KYC processes, transaction monitoring, and STR preparation.
• Maintain AML/CFT registers and assist with day-to-day AML operations.
