About The Position

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Junior Clerk on a part-time permanent basis on our Business Performance team at the Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC). This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our upbeat team. Requirements

  • Have a Grade 12 plus Introduction to Financial Accounting (Sask Polytechnic ACCT122 and ACCT 125 or UofR ADM/BUS 285 or equivalent is required.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to meet and deal with visitors and employees in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Have of 3 – 6 months of accounts payable experience or one year of closely related experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support Accounts Payable processing by managing the intake of invoices for processing or distribution and attaching supporting documentation where required.
  • Collaborate closely with CRC Project Managers, Engineers and Contract Coordinators to ensure invoices are accurately matched to purchase orders, applicable taxes are applied correctly, and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. Assist in resolving invoicing and payment issues by coordinating with business units and suppliers.
  • Prepare journal entries and payable adjustments as required, while ensuring invoices and related documentation are accurately maintained and stored.
  • Perform a variety of accounting duties as assigned and includes varying levels of responsibility.
  • Perform a variety of assigned accounting duties involving varying levels of responsibility, including but not limited to Data Entry duties.
  • Other duties as required.
