About The Position

CACI is seeking a C# software engineer to design, develop, and maintain software tools that support aircraft safety and operations. The work will support Navy F/A-18 fleet readiness by improving maintenance detection software and anomaly detection algorithms. The role includes travel to NAVAIR Oceana, NAS Whidbey Island, and NAS Lemoore for software deployment and troubleshooting. Candidates must reside in the greater Virginia Beach, Virginia; Seattle, Washington; or Lemoore, California area. The position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance and is contingent on funding, so it may not be filled immediately.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with C#, .NET, and Python.
• 0–3 years of job experience.
• Reside in the greater Virginia Beach, Virginia; Seattle, Washington; or Lemoore, California area.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Oracle databases, Linux, and SQL.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack applications for detecting and reporting aircraft maintenance needs.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces and contribute to back-end integration and API development.
• Participate in Agile team activities, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Build C# backend services to manage large datasets.
• Test and debug software to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance, and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code that follows best practices and coding standards.
