We currently have an opening for a Junior Buyer in our Purchasing Department. The Junior Buyer works closely with multiple departments every day, in a fast-paced environment. He/she will be trained on the procurement of tooling, factory supplies, outside processes, office supplies and related administrative activities. Duties will include the researching of new/existing products, price negotiation, quality monitoring, open order follow up, receiving, and updating of supplier credentials.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required in Supply Chain or Business
  • Minimum of one year of purchasing experience preferred - open to train recent college graduates with related degrees
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis

Nice To Haves

  • Infor Syteline and CloudSuite Industrial ERP knowledge a plus
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
