About The Position

The Junior Merchant will support the growth and day-to-day management of the Water Sports category, and our marketplace channels. Working closely with the Buyer and cross-functional teams, this role will support assortment planning, product analysis, forecasting, vendors, promotions, and marketplace initiatives while building experience in merchandising and buying.

Requirements

• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with data, reporting, and multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Curious, motivated, and eager to learn and grow.
• Interest in developing into a Merchant/Buyer role.

Nice To Haves

• Merchandising, buying, e-commerce, retail, forecasting, or marketplace experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support category management, assortment planning, and product maintenance.
• Analyze sales, inventory, margin, and product performance.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, Open to Buy, and purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing, products, and availability.
• Support new product launches, promotions, and product lifecycle management.
• Monitor product performance across Amazon and other marketplace channels.
• Partner with Marketing, E-commerce, Operations, and Retail teams.
• Prepare reports and monitor industry trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
• Take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
