About The Position

The Junior Buyer will be responsible for creating and managing purchase orders, monitoring order status, obtaining supplier quotations, and supporting cost-saving initiatives. This role involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, coordinating with various internal teams, and resolving supplier-related issues. The Junior Buyer will also track inventory levels, analyze purchasing data, and assist in supplier qualification and performance reviews, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.

Requirements

AA or above degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, or a related field.
Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. (Oracle preferred)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow the site EHS procedures and Corporate EHS standards.
Use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Create and manage purchase orders in the ERP system.
Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations.
Support cost-saving and supplier negotiation initiatives.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information.
Coordinate with engineering, planning, logistics, and receiving teams.
Resolve delivery, quality, and invoicing issues with suppliers.
Track inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning.
Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports on supplier performance, cost trends, and delivery metrics.
Assist in supplier qualification and performance reviews.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
