About The Position

ECS is seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to support our Defense health organization in Washington, DC. The role involves leveraging data analysis and reporting tools to extract insights from healthcare data, supporting critical decision-making within military and defense healthcare systems. This position requires applying technical, programmatic, and soft skills to enhance operational efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and optimize resource allocation. The analyst will work on projects for military healthcare, supporting clients in transforming healthcare systems and large data platforms, and acting as a trusted advisor to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes to evolve military healthcare programs. ECS will support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) by delivering program management and advanced analytics services, integrating tools like SEMOSS, Python, R, and AI-driven analytics for enterprise dashboards, predictive analysis, and streamlined reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with OCONUS / Global Program Management and with DoD IT systems maintenance and enhancements.
  • 0-3+ years of DoD work experience.
  • 0-3+ years total work experience in Business Intelligence.
  • Advance knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets.
  • Statistical, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to quickly transition and reassess priorities to meet aggressive deadlines.
