About The Position

T.O. Haas Tire, a growing company with 24 locations across Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa, is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician/Mechanic. Since 1947, T.O. Haas Tire has been serving the community by selling a wide variety of tire brands and performing automotive services such as oil changes, alignments, brakes, and more. We employ ASE Certified Technicians to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition. The Junior Automotive Technician will be responsible for performing basic automotive diagnostics and repairs, including oil changes, tire and wheel services, and light vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience preferred
Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
Valid Driver’s license
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to obtain a State Inspector License (in applicable locations) is preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience
Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
Utilizes the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to properly document the vehicle condition
Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to direct supervisor
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed.
Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor
