About The Position

Sonepar Management Group (SMG) supports its Sonepar brands in the US through a shared services model, including HR, finance, digital enterprise, supply chain, vendor relations, marketing, legal, and communications. SMG enables brands to operate locally while leveraging the scale of a global enterprise. SMG fosters an inclusive and supportive culture with leadership and development programs. Sonepar is seeking Junior Level .NET Application Developers to join its growing technology team. This role involves working on enterprise-scale solutions, contributing to high-impact projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The developer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications supporting business-critical operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Full-Stack Application Developer.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting .NET applications utilizing ASP.NET and MVC frameworks.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting modern, responsive web user interfaces.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting highly scalable web-based applications and components.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting system integrations utilizing XML, JSON, and related technologies.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting productivity and business applications leveraging web and mobile technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Proficiency in C# and Object-Oriented Design principles.
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio IDE.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and relational database technologies.
  • Proficiency in RESTful services and Web API development.
  • Proficiency in end-to-end web application development, from user interface through data access layers.
  • Proficiency in rich web application UI development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficiency in cross-browser application development and support.
  • Proficiency in application architecture, design patterns, and scalable solution development.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for Sonepar on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in both front-end and back-end application development.
  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with business partners, product teams, and fellow developers to deliver innovative technology solutions.
  • Contribute to application enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
