About The Position

Glass Lewis is seeking a Junior Analyst to join their Executive Compensation Research team. This role involves analyzing and issuing voting recommendations on compensation-related proposals for the United States and Canada, including evaluating equity compensation plans and compensation structures for senior executives and boards. The analyst will use quantitative and qualitative analysis, requiring comfort with numerical data and strong written communication skills to synthesize complex information. Responsibilities extend to contributing to special projects like proxy season reports, blog content, and client-directed research, as well as supporting updates to internal guidelines and training materials. The position also includes external engagement with public company boards and executives, providing exposure to key stakeholders in corporate governance. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring regular office attendance (3x per week) at their downtown Toronto office.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze executive compensation programs and equity-based compensation plans
  • Produce clear, well-reasoned voting recommendations for institutional investors
  • Conduct research for special reports, proxy season reviews, and thought leadership content
  • Assist in updating internal voting guidelines and training materials
  • Participate in engagement calls and meetings with corporate representatives
  • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
