About The Position

The Junior Analyst (Data & AI) is an early-career, hands-on role designed for a high-performing graduate. This role contributes to delivering applied data and AI solutions across business use-cases. The analyst will work in a team & directly with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities, prototype solutions, and deploy data-driven and AI-enabled capabilities into production environments. In addition to delivering solutions, the analyst will play a key role in raising AI fluency and data capabilities across the organization, helping teams better understand, experiment, and adopt modern tools and approaches. The role will build hands-on experience with TCH’s modern data and AI ecosystem, including AWS-based data, integration tooling, and leading AI platforms. While deep prior experience in all tools is not expected, the candidate should demonstrate strong foundational skills and a clear willingness and ability to learn quickly.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in data analysis, programming (Python/SQL), and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated interest in applied AI (e.g., LLMs, automation, or analytics use-cases).
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and iterating quickly on solutions.
  • Curious, proactive, and motivated to both learn and teach others.
  • Interested in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Previously completed internships in the financial sector (payments ideally) with demonstrated growth and impact.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms or AI tools (academic or practical) is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Apply data analysis and problem-solving techniques to support AI and data-driven use-cases across TCH business units.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities where data and AI can improve processes, decision-making, or product capabilities.
  • Build and iterate on prototypes that leverage structured data, analytics, and AI models to deliver business value.
  • Develop and support data pipelines and analytical workflows using AWS technologies such as Glue, Glue Data Quality, Iceberg, and Athena.
  • Create dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., AWS QuickSight) to communicate insights and support decision-making.
  • Experiment with and integrate AI capabilities using platforms such as Amazon Bedrock (Claude), ChatGPT, and OpenAI APIs.
  • Utilize tools such as SnapLogic to connect systems and enable data and AI workflows across platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable assets, patterns, and best practices for AI and data use across the organization.
  • Support the evaluation, testing, and responsible deployment of AI solutions, including prompt design, workflow orchestration, and performance monitoring.
  • Assist in documenting solutions, creating internal guides, and sharing knowledge to improve AI literacy and data proficiency across teams.
  • Participate actively in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies and contribute to iterative delivery of team objectives.
