About The Position

We are looking for a Junior AI Developer to join our growing Oracle Cloud and AI engineering team. This role is ideal for someone 1 year out of school who has hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted coding tools (especially Claude Code) & wants to apply those skills to real enterprise systems , not just demos. You’ll work alongside senior architects & integration specialists to design, build, and enhance Oracle Fusion integrations and PaaS‑based services , using modern AI‑assisted development practices. This is a hands‑on engineering role with strong mentorship and a clear growth path.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems , or related field
  • 1-2 years of professional or internship experience in software development
  • Hands‑on experience using Claude Code (or similar AI coding tools) for real development tasks
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar
  • Basic understanding of: REST APIs
  • JSON / XML
  • Git or other version control
  • Strong curiosity about AI‑assisted development & enterprise systems
  • Clear communication skills & willingness to learn in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud (Financials, SCM, HCM), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Oracle PaaS, cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, or Azure), & building or consuming APIs
  • Coursework or projects involving: AI tools in software development
  • Automation or integration projects

Responsibilities

  • Develop & enhance Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations (Financials, SCM, HCM, etc.)
  • Build & maintain services on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle PaaS
  • Use Claude Code and other AI coding assistants to accelerate development, refactoring, testing, & documentation
  • Write & troubleshoot REST/SOAP integrations , data mappings, and transformations
  • Support API‑based integrations between Oracle Fusion & external systems
  • Assist with POCs, MVPs, & automation initiatives leveraging AI‑enabled development workflows
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, & design discussions
