About The Position

Anglin Consulting Group (ACG) is seeking a Junior Acquisition Specialist to provide operational acquisition and procurement support to the Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD). This role is contingent upon contract award and funding. The specialist will work under general supervision, assisting Contracting Officers (COs) and Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs) throughout the full acquisition lifecycle, from pre-award package preparation to contract administration and closeout. ACG is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) professional services firm partnering with federal, defense, and commercial organizations to optimize operations, drive financial discipline, and streamline mission-critical processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant federal acquisition or contracting support experience.
  • Foundational understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), federal procurement lifecycles, and hands-on experience using PRISM, FPDS-NG, and SAM.gov.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Moderate Public Trust clearance.
  • Must successfully participate in a government-conducted "Meet & Greet" evaluation prior to onboarding.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in preparing Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Objectives (SOO), Independent Government Estimates (IGE), Determinations and Findings (D&F), and market research documentation.
  • Performs contract data entry, document logging, and procurement tracking using federal systems, including PRISM, FPDS-NG, SAM.gov, and electronic filing archives.
  • Assists in compiling solicitation documentation for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines.
  • Assists with routine contract administration tasks, including drafting administrative modifications, tracking deliverable schedules, exercising option periods, and maintaining organized contract files.
  • Reviews basic vendor invoices for compliance with contract terms, coordinates with CORs on approvals, and prepares contract closeout packages.
