Junior Accounts Payable Specialist
About The Position
The Jr. Accounts Payable Specialist contributes to AHF by ensuring timely and accurate processing and payment of a high volume of invoices. The Junior Accounts Payable Specialist will possess strong communication and customer service skills; must be able to work with vendors and internal and external customers in a professional manner. The Jr. Accounts Payable Specialist enhances the reputation of AHF by maintaining strong vendor account relationships. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as the Jr. Accounts Payable Specialist, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Jr. Accounts Payable Specialist will work as a part of a close-knit team to ensure timely responses to all inquiries and requests. Consistent application of AHF’s internal financial policies & payment processing procedures and adherence to internal controls in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. He/ She ascertains that all requisite support documentation and approval is obtained prior to payment.
