About The Position
The Junior Accountant is responsible for overseeing daily cash deposits, bank transactions, outgoing payments, and all retail store AR responsibilities.
Requirements
- Two to four years of Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Account Payable experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education required
- Microsoft Office
- Attention to Detail
- Strong written/oral communication skills

Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
- Prior experience with SAP/SAP Business One preferred
Responsibilities
- Post all daily bank transactions
- Record and reconcile all daily credit card, check, and cash transactions from catalog and retail sales.
- Process daily check deposits.
- Validate, code, and post all outgoing credit card transactions.
- Process outgoing payments - both checks and AMEX OneAP.
- Process 3rd party decorator commissions.
- Partner with the Customer Support Team to resolve customer chargeback issues.
- Oversee CertCapture certificate validations
- Send out AR statements for store and manage the collection process.
- Manage vendor set up and maintenance.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
