About The Position

RateHawk is part of Emerging Travel Group, a travel-tech company with brands like ZenHotels and Roundtrip, operating in over 220 markets. Their mission is to create, distribute, and operate convenient travel products by innovating within the travel industry. As a Junior Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships and strengthening the company's presence in the local market. This is a remote position open to candidates in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Hungary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of successful experience in account or customer management, or in business development for B2B companies within the travel industry.
  • Understanding of the region's travel market, including B2B travel networks (tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, OTAs).
  • Fluent in English, and either Lithuanian, Latvian or Polish.
  • Up to 10% of travel time may be required.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, metrics, and numbers.
  • Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, with an appetite for innovative technology and comfort in a fast-changing business environment.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to understand and work across a wide range of cultural contexts.
  • CVs must be in English.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop collaborative relationships with existing and newly contracted partners (tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and online travel agencies) to increase partner performance and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify, assess, and support growth opportunities in the defined territory, providing expertise on market trends and partner needs.
  • Conduct follow-up communications with current and prospective partners for system training and to enhance their understanding and utilization of provided platforms.
  • Position and promote the client’s brand within the travel trade sector through product presentations and representation at industry networking events.
  • Advise on the resolution of incident-related matters affecting partners, facilitating support and ensuring timely communication between involved parties.
  • Oversee payment-related processes, including transaction verification and control, and provide recommendations for payment operations.
  • Prepare and submit regular comprehensive reports using the client’s CRM and internal systems, offering analysis and insights on partner activities, market developments, and other relevant metrics.
