About The Position

Sitemetric is expanding its services to include 24/7 remote site monitoring and security support through our new Joint Security Operations Center (JSOC). We are seeking JSOC Operators to monitor live camera feeds, respond to safety and security incidents, and serve as a central point of contact for construction sites across the country. This role is designed as a promotional opportunity for current Access Control Officers (ACOs) who want to grow into centralized security operations. Candidates with SOC, camera monitoring, dispatch, or similar experience are also encouraged to apply. JSOC Operators will work from our Manassas, VA operations office and support hundreds of active construction sites using multiple surveillance and communication platforms. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in one of the following: Sitemetric Access Control Officer (ACO) role, Security operations, Camera monitoring / surveillance, Dispatch or control center
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
  • Comfortable working with multiple computer systems simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work rotating shifts
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Sitemetric ACO experience
  • Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC/GSOC) or camera monitoring center
  • Familiarity with surveillance, alarm, or access control systems
  • Experience coordinating incident response or emergency escalation
  • Construction site security experience
  • CPR/First Aid or security-related certifications (a plus, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor live video surveillance feeds across multiple construction sites
  • Conduct routine camera sweeps per SOP (every 2 hours during day, hourly overnight)
  • Identify suspicious activity, safety concerns, or system issues
  • Respond to alarms, intrusions, and incidents following established procedures
  • Escalate incidents appropriately (site leadership, internal teams, or 911 when required)
  • Answer and manage calls on a dedicated JSOC phone line
  • Serve as a point of contact for site personnel and clients when field staff are unavailable
  • Retrieve and review camera footage for security or safety incidents
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and End of Day (EOD) shift summaries
  • Communicate clearly via phone, Slack, and internal systems during high-stress situations
  • Coordinate with field ACOs, leadership, and third-party vendors
  • Log into and operate multiple third-party platforms daily
