Junior Utilities Operations Supervisor at JLL helps manage daily field work, maintenance, and staff for utilities, water, sewer, or power systems.

Requirements

High school diploma required
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in pharma works, facility maintenance, or utility operations.
Valid driver’s license
Relevant entry-level state water/wastewater or trade certifications.
Basic computer literacy
Leadership potential
Problem-solving skills for handling equipment failures
Intermediate English communication skills
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

An associate or technical degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct daily crew assignments, schedule repair work orders, and inspect active job sites.
Train new technicians, track performance, and coordinate shift or work schedules.
Monitor the safety and efficiency of utility networks like water distribution or sewage collection.
Enforce local, state, and federal safety rules (such as EPA, OSHA, FDA, CFR, GxP standards).
Help prepare basic operational reports, track material inventory, and assist with departmental budgets.
