About The Position
Arch Aerial LLC is seeking a highly motivated Junior UAS Pilot (Drone Pilot) to create and collect both captivating content and high utility industrial inspection data for their construction and energy service lines. This is a full-time hourly position expecting 35-45 hours per week. The role involves executing scheduled UAS missions, primarily in industrial settings, and includes duties such as UAS flight execution, data management, and data transfer. While previous professional UAS Pilot experience is not required, it is highly recommended. New hires will receive training on Arch Aerial's piloting, process, safety, and technical skills. The role involves travel, often in outdoor conditions typical of Gulf Coast and Southwest climates, including hot and humid weather. Opportunities for overtime and additional piloting work within and outside the Greater Houston area may arise. There's also a possibility for training as a Junior Data Technician. Piloting duties are field-based, while administrative or data technician tasks require being in-office. This position is not remote.
Requirements
- Part 107 UAS Remote Pilot Endorsement
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to utilize a variety of computer applications including MS Office, and other on-line cloud storage and data transfer tools like Dropbox.
- Must have a safety-oriented attitude on and off-site.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, staff, customers, and industry.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with multi-rotor UAS operation; fixed wing UAS operational experience is a plus.
- 1 Year of Commercial UAS Piloting Experience (at minimum)
- Adobe Suite Experience
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
