About The Position

This is a 17-month contract position for a Jr. Unix (Linux) System Engineer who is Korean Bilingual. The role involves providing upgrades and implementing new system technology, implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing, and designing servers within the organization. Responsibilities also include preparing for disaster recovery, ensuring high availability, and continually improving operational processes. The position may involve supervising computer administrators and/or user support specialists.

Requirements

Korean Bilingual Required
High Hands-on experience on Linux Distribution Platforms (RedHat, Oracle linux, CentOS, Rocky etc)
Proven experience on Virtualization (VMware VCF preferred)
Storage solution experiences on NetApp, EMC products with Volume Management (LUN management, Provisioning iSCSI and FC lun, Disk pool and staging)
CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, FC and NDMP management
Proven experience & ability architect on Linux open source applications’ deployment
General troubleshooting of Linux system log analysis
Heavy hands on Bash, Korn Shell, Perl, python script experience
Associate Degree, or higher
3+ years as Linux Systems Engineer

Nice To Haves

High Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker experience
College Degree preferred or equivalent experience & certification

Responsibilities

Maintain Linux Platforms (RedHat and Oracle Linux)
Manage Linux patching, upgrade, Migration, Virtualization and Tier 3 support
Monitor, maintain, configure and upgrading MIS, MOS and NES systems
Development in Datacenters and FAB/CUB
Project management, planning, DR, new system designs and implementation
MIS, MOS and NES servers, application server maintenance
Managing & operating company Austin Semiconductor Datacenters in Austin and Taylor
Monitoring Systems activities
Asset managements
