About The Position

This is a hands-on summer internship focused on transitioning our quality assurance process from manual scripts to automated testing. You will work directly with a Senior QA Engineer to learn professional automation practices and contribute to the stability of our production systems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (First-year students are encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of programming logic and loops (any language).
• Familiarity with how websites work, including basic HTML and CSS.
• A strong desire to learn modern automation tools like Playwright and Git.
• High attention to detail when following manual instructions and translating them into code.

Responsibilities

• Assist in converting existing manual test scripts into automated Playwright tests.
• Update and maintain existing test suites to ensure they reflect current software features.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and debugging when automated tests fail to identify potential software defects.
• Document test cases and provide clear notes on testing results for the development team.
• Join sprint standups and team meetings to understand how QA fits into the software development lifecycle.
