About The Position

The Jr Quality Technician performs acceptance inspections of raw material, components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies to documented inspection plans using various metrology. This position is responsible to adhere to and promote the company documented Quality Management System procedures and policies. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an inspector preferred
• OpenDMIS CMM software preferred
• GD&T certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections in accordance with documented inspection plans or instructions
• Record inspection results clearly and legibly
• Conduct mechanical measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gages, drop gages, optical comparators, and CMM equipment
• Perform visual inspections using a microscope
• Identify, segregate, and report discovered non‑conformances
• Prepare final source inspection documentation
• Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation
• Maintain a neat, organized, and compliant workspace
