About The Position

As a Jr QA Test Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our user interfaces and operations. This role supports scrum teams by executing manual test cases, validating basic UI workflows, and assisting with API and GraphQL testing under supervision. This role is ideal for someone early in their QA career who is eager to learn testing methodologies, tools, and best practices while contributing to the quality of LCPtracker products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective business writing and composition skills with good command of the English language.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management.
  • Minimum 1-year experience working on Scrum teams.
  • Basic understanding of the Agile methodology.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of experience preferred in the QA field, preferably with a focus on application workflow validation
  • Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries is a plus.
  • Experience with GraphQL or API testing is a plus.
  • Scrum certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand UI and GraphQL requirements and resolve issues.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for UI workflows and GraphQL operations.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new changes.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test scripts and test data.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and best practices.
  • Provide regular status updates on testing activities.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and use discretion when needed.
  • Promote and maintain positive morale through teamwork.
