About The Position

The Junior Scheduler supports project controls and project management teams in developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules for oil and gas engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. This position assists with tracking project progress, monitoring milestones, identifying schedule variances, and preparing reports to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

0–3 years of scheduling, project controls, or project coordination experience.
Familiarity with oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, or industrial construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules for oil and gas projects, including refinery, petrochemical, pipeline, and upstream and midstream facilities.
Support the preparation and updating of detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning schedules.
Collect progress updates from project managers, engineers, construction personnel, and other project team members.
Track project milestones, deliverables, critical path activities, and schedule constraints.
Assist in identifying schedule delays, potential risks, and conflicts that may impact project completion.
Prepare weekly and monthly schedule updates, progress reports, and schedule performance metrics.
Maintain schedule documentation and ensure project information is accurate and current.
Coordinate with project controls, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to obtain schedule status information.
Assist in developing look-ahead schedules and recovery schedules as needed.
Support earned value management and progress measurement activities, when applicable.
Utilize project scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, to update and maintain project schedules.
Follow established project controls procedures and scheduling standards.
