About The Position

Quality Counts (QC) is seeking a full-time Junior Operations Manager to join their team in the transportation data collection industry. This role offers a hybrid indoor/outdoor work environment and is described as a launchpad for entrepreneurs, emphasizing learning by doing and career growth. The position involves gaining practical experience in business management and entrepreneurship, assisting in expanding the client network, executing data collection projects, and making an impact on local infrastructure improvements.

Strong with the details and can use power tools.
A fast learner who values feedback and collaboration.
Technically capable and confident in the field.
Willing to travel nationally and attend local conferences as needed.
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business management) or has 3-5 years of relevant management/business experience.
Has a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Gain practical experience in business management and entrepreneurship.
Assist the Associate VP of Operations to expand QC’s client network across the greater Houston area by managing existing client relationships and winning new projects.
Execute data collection projects of all sizes.
Install equipment like video detection cameras and pneumatic tubes.
Help with surveys and data collection in the field.
Improve local roadways and communities by assisting engineers and planners.
