About The Position

A growing manufacturer located in Hanover, PA is seeking a Jr. Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This role involves research, planning, design, development, budgeting, building, and testing of mechanical devices. The engineer will also plan and oversee personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, develop testing methods and procedures, coordinate fabrication and installation to meet design and customer specifications, and oversee operation, preventive maintenance, and repair activities for optimal machine and equipment utilization.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, design, develop, budget, build and test mechanical devices
• Plan and oversee personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment
• Develop the methods and procedures needed for the testing of the products
• Coordinate the fabrication and installation to ensure products conform to design and customer specifications
• Coordinate the operation, preventive maintenance and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment
