About The Position

Jr IT Project Manager – Project Management Office $40/hour on a W2, 6-month contract with chance of extension Del Oro Consulting, a national consulting solutions provider with over 20 years of experience supporting global technology leaders, is seeking a Jr IT Project Manager to join the client’s PMO. This role will support project execution under the direction of PMO Managers and will lead IT projects and internal programs, ensuring successful delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements

1-3 years of IT project management experience, specifically with server, storage, and infrastructure projects
PMP, CAPM, and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams)
On-site presence required 3 days per week at 5130 Hacienda Dr, Dublin, CA 94568

Responsibilities

Define and manage project methodology, governance, communication plans, budgets, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
Develop and maintain project work plans, timelines, and deliverables
Facilitate project kick-off meetings, align expectations, and ensure ongoing transparent communication
Monitor project scope, budget, risks, and issues, escalating as necessary
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure completion of all required project deliverables
