About The Position

NBCUniversal is seeking a Jr. Graphic Artist to assist in the design, creation, and editing of still and motion graphics for broadcast. This role involves delivering graphic elements and motion graphic packages as specified, supporting senior artists with editing and proofreading, managing graphic assets, and researching/requesting photos. The position also includes other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts
• At least one year professional (film, tv or advertising) experience working in motion graphics
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of various audio, video and image file formats and ability to convert or compress to various required specifications
• Willingness to work overtime and be flexible with hours, This can include work on holidays and weekends
• Must submit a reel and resume/CV online to be considered

Nice To Haves

• Excellent communication skills
• Self-directed with excellent organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Cinema 4D
• Ability to work under intense deadlines and quickly edit or adjust “day of” segments for broadcast

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, creation and edit of still and motion graphics

• Assist senior artists with editing/proofreading duties
• Assist in archival and retrieval of graphic assets and project files
• Research and request photos from photo editors
• Other duties and projects as assigned
